Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday urged Prime Minister Imran Khan to raise salaries of all government and private employees in view of Ramzanul Mubarak.
Addressing the government in a statement, Shehbaz said if an immediate relief is not provided then it will become impossible for the public to make both ends meet in the holy month.
In the wake of high inflation lately, Shehbaz suggested a 20 per cent increase in the pay of those earning up to Rs0.1 million monthly.
