KARACHI: At least eight fishermen were missing after a boat capsized near Korangi’s coastal area of the city on Monday.
According to Chairman Pakistan Fishermen’s Co-operative Society Abdul Ba’ar, a fishermen boat overturned near Korangi’s coastal. As a result, eight fishermen, Malik Aziz, Rafique, Nazeer Hussain, Iqbal Ali, Yahiya Ahmed, Abdul Sattar, Jamman and Ameen went missing.
Rescue operation was under way to find the missing fishermen, sources said.
