LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has decided to introduce the e-tender system for government contracts in order to eliminate corruption.
The chief minister on Tuesday approved the proposal of e-tendering and stated that it will be introduced soon in government departments.
“The e-tendering system will be introduced in stages and will be completely implemented in all departments by the start of new fiscal year,” the CM said, adding every department will be bound to pay the contract under the e-tendering system.
