WAH CANTT: Additional District and Sessions Judge Tahir Abbass Sipra on Thursday sentenced the rapist of a five-year-old girl to 28 years of imprisonment in addition to imposing a fine of Rs 0.2 million on him.
According to the prosecution, the accused Rashid had abducted and raped the girl in the limits of Taxila Police Station.
The police registered a case against the accused under section 376 and 367-A PPC on the complaint of the child’s father and arrested him. After listening to the prosecution, the court found him guilty of being a rapist and awarded him the 28-year sentence.
