The Islamabad Electricity Supply Company (IESCO) Chief Executive Officer Wajid Ali was replaced by the Power Division on Friday, a local media outlet reported on Friday.
Ali was appointed at the post on October 26 on a temporary basis.
However, on Friday, he was replaced by Multan Electric Power Company’s (MEPCO) Shahid Iqbal Chaudhry, again on a temporary basis.
According to reports, the temporary appointments at senior posts was impacting performance of the power supply companies.
