The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed City traffic Officers (CTOs) across Punjab to provide reports on implementation of traffic laws, a local media outlet reported on Friday.
The directive was made during the hearing of a petition seeking strict implementation of traffic laws, including use of helmets.
Justice Qureshi observed how the enforcement of laws had reduced incidents of head injuries and sought a report from the health secretary over the ratio of head injuries before and after the introduction of helmet regulations.
