Police have obtained a one-day physical remand of an alleged rapist from a local judicial magistrate.
Reporters were informed by Saddar Station House Officer (SHO) Khalid Rehman that the suspect is accused of raping an 11-year-old girl.
The accused was booked under Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) Section 376.
Doctors, after medically examining the victim, have confirmed the assault, according to Sub-Inspector Javed Khan.
