QUETTA: One soldier was martyred and another injured during an operation against Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) in the Jhao area of the province, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.
“Four terrorists were killed while a cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered,” read the statement released by the ISPR.
The martyr has been identified as 24-years-old Ramz Ali who hailed from Khairpur Miras.
The Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) was conducted by security forces against terrorists who had ambushed a military convoy earlier this year, the statement explained.
The IBO was conducted under Operation Raddul Fasaad which was launched last year to eliminate “residual/latent threat of terrorism” in the country.
