MULTAN: People have expressed concern over non-functioning of water filtration plants and demanded the authorities concerned to ensure early repair of the plants.
Anjuman President Shehryan Rana Amjad Ali said that filtration plant at New Bus Stand was also out of order for the last two months. Similarly, city water plant was also out of order for long. He said that a local NGO repaired it but it again developed a fault again.
Rana Amjad said that the tank of Basti Talkot Plant had not been cleaned for long and even bones and dead insects were found in the tank. Its filter had not been replaced, he added.
