Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is unlikely to wear a new Sherwani when he takes oath as prime minister on August 18, a local media outlet reported on Tuesday.
An order had been placed for Khan’s Sherwani but was cancelled as part of his austerity drive. An order for a waistcoat was then placed but that was cancelled as well.
According to reports, Imran Khan will wear a Sherwani in accordance with tradition but not a new one.
