ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced that Saturday is the last day for successful candidates to submit the details of their expenses incurred on their election campaign.
According to a notification by ECP, the electoral body will issue the list of successful candidates general elections by August 9, 2018.
The notification, however, to successful candidates who fail to submit their expense details will be withheld, the notification read.
Meanwhile, the Returning Officers (ROs) have finalised the Form 49-which tabulates consolidated results including postal ballots.
After the announcement of successful candidates, the independent candidates will have three days to join any party.
Further, the strength of all political parties in both provincial and national assemblies will be determined by August 7, after which the ECP will issue notifications of successful candidates from reserved seats.
After the notifications of all successful candidates, the session of National Assembly will be called. After taking oath, the members of National Assembly will then elect the prime minister and Speaker of the House
