HYDERABAD: Seventeen people were killed and 13 others injured after a trailer rammed into a bus carrying wedding party on National Highway near Matiari on late Sunday night.
According to sources, the bus carrying wedding party was parked on a roadside in Hala due to malfunction when a fast-moving trailer coming from the backside hit the passenger bus. As a result, 15 people include five women and two children suffered severe injuries and died on the spot.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where two others succumbed to their wounds taking the toll to 17.
