ISLAMABAD: The police foiled a major terror bid in Islamabad as a live hand grenade was recovered and later defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) on Tuesday.
It was reported that the SHO Sabzi Mandi police station said that miscreants had hidden a live hand grenade in Sector I-10 of Islamabad which was recovered by police.
The grenade by defused by BDS preventing a major terror bid.
The forensic experts arrived at the site; collected fingerprints found on the grenade and launched an investigation into the incident.
