SC gives govt more time to arrest alleged killer of former attorney general

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has adjourned the hearing of the case of the murder of former Attorney General Sardar Khan for an indefinite period while accepting the plea from federation to give more time for arresting the accused Rooh-Ullah.

A three-member bench presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar took up the murder case of former Attorney General(AG) Sardar Khan for hearing on TUESDAY.

Attorney General (AG) Ashtar Ausaf took the stance that the accused Rooh Ullah is in Afghanistan and we have contacted the Attorney General of Afghanistan regarding his arrest.

Ashtar Ausaf requested to grant more time to arrest the accused while SC has accepted the plea and adjourned the hearing of the case indefinitely.
