Two military personnel were killed and three others were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) in North Waziristan.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the incident happened in the Datta Khel town of North Waziristan. Lance Naik Momin Ali and a soldier named Salim were killed in the explosion.
The injured were immediately transported to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for medical assistance.
Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi expressed his grief over the loss of two precious lives of army soldiers who embraced martyrdom in Datakhel, and prayed for the departed souls and early recovery of the injured.
