SHEIKHUPURA: Sixteen teachers of the district public school of Safdarabad have filed a harassment petition in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Ziaullah Gujjar.
The school’s principal, Zaibunnisa, submitted a petition on behalf of 16 teachers, accusing an administration official of harassing them. She said the suspect threatened the teachers for not fulfilling his “unjust demands” and police were forcing them to withdraw the plaint.
The court after hearing initial arguments directed the police to submit their version within a week.
However, the official denies the allegations saying that the deputy commissioner has ordered a performance audit of the teachers which makes them nervous and the reason for their complaint.
