Suspected militants target girls’ school in NWA with IED

MIRANSHAH: A girls’ public school in the remote village of Hassokhel, North Waziristan was targeted with an improvised explosive device on Thursday.

The boundary wall of the school was damaged as a result of the blast.

Local sources claimed that the militants attempted to bomb the entire school using explosives. However, the political administration said it was unaware of the militant strike.
