Cooperative society’s registrar removed on corruption

The deputy commissioner on Friday removed a circular registrar from his post due to fraud and corruption in a federal cooperative society and allotment of good position plots to near and dears.

Assistant Commissioner Asghar Niazi has now additional charger of the circular registrar. On Thursday, the Interior Ministry wrote a letter to the deputy commissioner of Islamabad about the corruption and fraud of Mazhar Hussain, the circular registrar.

According to the letter, Mazhar Hussain (BPS-17) posted as circular registrar of the cooperative societies in Islamabad is hereby transferred from the Cooperative Societies Department and directed to report to the DC office.
