DERA MURAD JAMALI: A policeman was suspended on Thursday for allegedly raping a teenage girl in Dera Murad Jamali.
The police officer was accused of assaulting a young woman who came to his checkpoint for protection. The prima facie investigation report confirmed that the teenager had been raped.
Senior superintendent police took action and suspended the accused from his duty. The accused has surrendered and denied all charges against him, and now faces a trial.
