QUETTA: A division bench of Balochistan High Court (BHC) held the hearing of an application filed against the election of Abdul Quddus Bizenjo as the provincial chief minister on Monday. The bench comprised of Chief Justice Muhamamd Noor Muskanzai and Justice Zaheeruddin Kakar.
A noted lawyer contented that after the statement of the former leader of opposition, the chief minster had lost the majority in the house. He should either take the vote of confidence from the house or tender resignation, he added.
During the hearing, the additional advocate general appeared to represent the state. He requested the court to grant time for filing a reply. The court agreed and adjourned the hearing till April 2.
