ISLAMABAD: The Friday sermons will now be delivered on selected topics, after getting approval from the capital administration, which will also closely monitor them, reported a local English newspaper.
Earlier, it was decided that written sermons will be sent to all the mosques and imambargahs in the capital. A meeting between the administration and scholars from all school of thoughts and sects in this regard but the clerics strongly opposed the idea.
Later, however, it was decided that selected topics will be sent to the mosques and imambargahs, which will be shared with the religious scholars, who agreed to this proposal.
