ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has accepted the resignation of Islamabad Advocate General (AG) Mian Abdur Rauf and has given approval for appointment of Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri as Islamabad AG.
According to details, Mian Abdul Rauf resigned due to personal reasons. The Ministry of Interior has issued the notification for the appointment.
It is worth mentioning that the new Advocate General Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri has already served as deputy attorney general, Islamabad High Court (IHC) and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) deputy prosecutor.
