SIBI: Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo on Friday opened a fishery stall at Sibi Mela by cutting a ribbon. He was accompanied by provincial minister Sardar Sarfraz Domki
He said that the performance of fisheries department has increased by installing a stall at Sibi Mela to give awareness to the people. He said that within the available resources, possible measures are being taken for the promotion of coastal development and fisheries sector.
Chief Minister said that Sib Mela is the custodian of traditions and culture of Balochistan. He said that Balochistan coastal belt has a precious sea life and provincial government is taking all possible measures for its survival within its available resources.
At the stall, different species of Pisces were put on display in different aquariums and awareness was also provided to zamindars for fish production.
The CM said that awareness is the need of hour since it would encourage people to do business in the fishing sector which in turn can lead towards the prosperity of the nation and its economy.
