KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday summoned home secretary on immediate basis in a case filed for the recovery 107 missing persons.
Headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, a two-judge bench of the SHC expressed severe resentment over lack of development in the case.
“We will make the home secretary stand all day in the court so that the case is taken forward,” the judge said.
“People are swearing over Quran. JITs and task force are just wasting time as they have not been able to do anything. Don’t force us to take extreme action or will send the relevant authorities to jail,” warned the SHC.
