Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has decided to review the party constitution.
While presiding over the party meeting at Bani Gala on Friday, he said that party constitution has been formed since long therefore it has been decided to make some necessary amendments in it as the modernity in constitutional structure was vital adding that organisation of the party depended upon constitutional structure.
He said that a committee, comprising senior leaders and constitutional experts Dr Babar Awan, Sardar Azhar Tariq, Dr Arif Alvi, Amir Mehmood Kiyani and Shahid Nasim Gondal, has been formed in this regard. The committee would present recommendations to Imran Khan to make constitution comprehensive. “PTI is a democratic party in true sense and its constitutional structure is much better than any other political party”, he concluded.
