BANNU: Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) district leader Malik Tufail Ahmed was gunned down by unidentified men, early Sunday morning in Ghoriwala area of Bannu, according to a local media outlet.
Further investigation into the case is under way.
In 2916, another JI leader Advocate Mirza Zafar Baig and his cousin were shot dead in the Talwaara Mughalaan locality.
According to reports Baig, 47, along with his cousins — Mirza Imran Baig and Mirza Nauman— was shot dead by three armed bikers as he was returning home.
