QUETTA: Levies Force personnel were shot dead by some unidentified armed assailants at Qambarani Road near Sariab area here on Tuesday. According to the police sources, the victim was a resident of district Mastung.
The assailants fled from the crime scene. The body of the deceased was shifted to Sheikh Zahid Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The police cordoned off the entire area and started efforts to trace the suspects. Further investigations are underway.
