PESHAWAR: Teams of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Directorate of Tourists Services accompanied by the district government sealed 11 unregistered restaurants in Pabbi area of Nowshera, on Wednesday.
The action was taken under the directives of KPK Tourism Secretary Muhammad Tariq.
The restaurants were sealed for selling substandard products and ignoring the rules and regulations set by the government.
The teams also visited various areas of Pabbi and directed the owners of car rental travel agencies to register their businesses with the KPK Directorate of Tourists Services.
The business owners were warned that punitive actions will be taken against them if they failed to comply with the directives.
