BALAKOT: Two people working at a key hydro-power projected died in a road accident here on Saturday.
Police said that a vehicle serving staff working on Sukki Kinari Dam got out of control of the driver and it plunged into a deep gorge while it was heading to Paras from tourist resort Shogran in tehsil Balakot.
Both persons present in the vehicle including Azhar hailing from Ghanool village and Shahid a resident of Mansehra died on the spot in the accident.
The bodies were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Balakot where they were handed over to heirs after postmortem.
