BAHAWALPUR: A newly-wedded youth died in a clinic in Bahawalpur over alleged negligence of doctors.
According to reports, the young man, Hamid Abbasi, was taken to a clinic when he felt unwell. The doctor there gave him an injection after which his condition deteriorated.
Abbasi’s relatives then shifted him to the emergency ward of Bahawal Vitoria Hospital where he died soon after his arrival.
The angry heirs of the deceased staged a protest inside the hospital and ransacked the furniture and equipment. They also tortured doctors and staff of the hospital.
