ISLAMABAD: Misbehaving with the court cost two lawyers dearly with one of them getting arrested and their practising licenses getting cancelled in a plot encroachment case.
According to the details, the incident took place during the hearing of a case regarding the illegal taking over of a plot of land in E-7 sector of the capital in the court of Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui at Islamabad High Court (IHC).
During the hearing, two lawyers misbehaved with Justice Siddiqui on which he ordered a lawyer’s arrest and also ordered the cancellation of Suhail Ahmad and another lawyer’s licenses.
One of the arrested lawyer Suhail Ahmad is accused of encroaching a plot and giving threats to the bailiff team which went to get the plot freed from encroachment.
The incident took place while the court was hearing the case pertaining to the encroachment of the property and the threats given to the team lead by the bailiff.
