KARACHI: Secretary Health Dr Fazlullah Pechuho on Tuesday inaugurated the first Telemedicine Centre at the Sindh Government Children Hospital in the metropolis.
While speaking to media Dr Pechuho said that the Sindh Government is providing such technologies to other healthcare facilities of the department, adding that around-the-clock pediatric consultant will also be present for the patients at the Telemedicine Centre.
The secretary health said that the monitoring and evaluation of NGOs are ongoing and those organisations not implementing SOPs will face fines and the government reserves the right to discontinue their contracts.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Asif Zaman, the medical superintendent of Sindh Government Children Hospital said that their main aim to is to provide quality healthcare to their patients which is why they initiated this project.
