LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) team was beaten during raids against power theft in the provincial capital on Sunday.
Officials said that the LESCO team conducted operations against elements involved in power theft in Kahna, Sufiabad, Nishtar Colony, Ismail Nagar and Hamza Town areas of Lahore.
During the operation, the power stealers surrounded the LESCO team and manhandled them before fleeing the scene.
