ATC adjourns hearing of Mashal murder case till October 4

HARIPUR: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has adjourned the hearing of Mashal Khan murder case till October 4.

Judge Fazal Subhan Khan of ATC took up the lynching case for third hearing in Central Jail Haripur on Thursday.

During the course of hearing, counsels of all suspects appeared before trial court and statements of seven prosecution witnesses were recorded.

At the end of the hearing, at least statements of 20 witnesses were recorded.

High Court Abbottabad former president Fazal-ul-Haq Abbasi, Javed Khan, Tanoli Malik Amjad and Atif Jaddon Ishfaq, among other lawyers, appeared in the court on Thursday on behalf of the arrested accused in the case.

Counsels of 25 arrested suspects have also filed petitions for grant of bail to their clients; however court has reserved verdict on these bail pleas.
