AJK President, PM condemn US for labelling Salahuddin as ‘global terrorist’

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan and Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan have strongly condemned the US administration’s decision to declare Syed Salahuddin a “global terrorist”.

In their separate statements, they said that the Hizb-ul- Mujahideen leadership has never been involved in terrorist activities and has been sincerely striving for the freedom of Occupied Kashmir from Indian clutches, Radio Pakistan reported the other day.

They termed the move as a result of the nexus between American President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, rallies and protest demonstrations were held in various parts of the AJK to condemn the decision of US State Department.

The participants of the rallies were holding banners and placards inscribed with anti-American, anti-Indian and pro-freedom slogans.

They raised high-pitched slogans in favour of Syed Salahuddin and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen.
