A westerly wave is forecasted to enter upper areas of the country on Tuesday (today) and expected to persist during the next 2-3 days, the Pakistan Meteorological Department stated.
Thunderstorm and rain with gusty winds are expected in the next twenty-four hours at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, and Faisalabad divisions, FATA, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. An overall hot and dry weather is expected in the rest of the country, the MET forecasted.
The weather remained very hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, thunderstorm and rain with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Hazara, Kalat divisions, and Kashmir.
