Interior minister concerned over incorrect employees’ lists

ISLAMABAD: The Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan has expressed his concern over the provision of incorrect lists of employees who were deployed on deputation to Interior Ministry by the Islamabad administration.

According to sources, the number of officials and employees deployed on deputation in Islamabad administration has reached 200. Some 62 employees were merged with Islamabad administration while 155 employees perform their duties on deputation.

Sources said that Chief Commissioner Islamabad has submitted two lists in order to keep the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in dark.  One list consisting of 16 employees including Naib Tehsildar, Lady Health Visitors and Naib Qasid was sent to Interior Ministry by the Islamabad administration. The Interior Minister while taking notice of it has directed for all employees to be sent to their parent departments.

The Chief Commissioner Office has ordered five employees to be sent to their parent organizations while remaining 11 employees were kept on a waiting list, sources added and maintained that Islamabad administration has sent a list of 16 employees to Interior Ministry while a list of 200 employees was submitted to the IHC.

The Interior Ministry has expressed concern and directed the Chief Commissioner Office to immediately send the lists of all employees and urged to deal with them equally and fairly.
