Weather to remain hot, dry: Met office

KARACHI: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, according to Met Office.

However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Bannu, D.I. Khan, D.G. Khan, Sargodha, Bahawalpur divisions, upper FATA and Kashmir.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning was:-

Islamabad nineteen degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-four, Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-four, Quetta fifteen, Gilgit and Murree, fourteen, and Muzaffarabad eighteen degree centigrade.

According to synoptic situation, a shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and may persist during 12 hours.
