KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has strongly condemned the crackdown against Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) protest by Sindh government saying dictatorial habit and mindset of democratic government is very unfortunate.
“Despotic habit and mindset of a democratic government is highly unfortunate. Violence against peaceful political gatherings is not in any way democratic and acceptable”, said PTI Information Secretary Shafqat Mehmood on Monday.
The government should change the circumstances which force people to protest, instead of baton charging peaceful political workers, he remarked.
The Sindh government should tender an apology to the nation on this unacceptable attitude, he underlined.
