I would like to draw the attention of higher authority towards the health issues in Zhob. Zhob is the second largest district of Balochistan and has a large population of which the majority is vulnerable to Malaria. There is only one civil hospital. The lack of life-saving medicine is the biggest problem of people. The sole hospital cannot accommodate a large number of patients because of the capacity issue. The ratio of doctors to peoples is 1:8000. Therefore a large number of people lose their lives due to lack of resources. Health has never been a priority of any government.
The concerned authorities are requested to draft a comprehensive plan mitigate the suffering of peoples. Free medical treatment should be made available for the peoples of rural areas. The number of doctors should be increased.
