SC to hear petitions seeking disqualification of Imran Khan, Jahangir Tareen

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Wednesday will hear disqualification petition against PTI leaders Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen as MNAs.

The petition will be heard by a three member bench of the Supreme court. It was filed by Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi.

Abbasi has accused the two PTI leaders of hiding assets and money laundering, in the petition.

Khan’s counsel Naeem Bukhari has submitted a plea in the SC seeking dismissal of Abbasi’s petition.

Bukhari, in his petition, stated that Abbasi is nominated in the ephederine case back in 2012.
