Excise and taxation department (ETD) has set up a facilitation centre for the issuance of number plates and recovery of token tax in the federal capital.
According to media reports, excise and taxation facilitation centre has been set up in G-11/4 Islamabad along with the administration complex.
Excise department in collaboration with Islamabad police has started a campaign against illegal number plates in Islamabad.
District administration directed all citizens to contact excise department for acquiring number plates. In other cities, registered vehicles’ owners could obtain computerized number plates from concerning districts.
