MANSEHRA: Political parties on Thursday expedited their campaign for PK-54 Mansehra-II by-election on Thursday following the disqualification of MPA Mian Ziaur Rehman by the Peshawar High Court (PHC) in a fake degree case.
The major political parties including PML-N, PTI, PPP, JUI-F, JI, QWP and independent candidates have hastened their political campaign after the announcement of by-election schedule for PK-54 Mansehra-II.
The candidates started door to door campaign besides addressing corner meetings to persuade voters in their favour. More than 10 candidates would try their luck for the said constituency.
The real contest is expected among PML-N, PTI and former MPA Ahmed Shah. Political observers however said baradari system and development works would play key role in the result.
