Sindh govt appoints new head of Karachi Water, Sewerage Board

KARACHI: Sindh government has appointed the new head of Karachi Water & Sewerage Board, relieving Muhammed Ramzan Awan of his additional charge, according to a notification issued by the provincial government on Monday.

The notification dated March 13, 2017 issued by the government’s Services, General Administration and Coordination Department said that Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi, Director General Provincial Ombudsman (Mohtasib), Sindh is transferred and posted with immediate effect as Managing Director, Karachi Water & Sewerage Board.

According to notification, the relieved Awan is a grade-20 officer of Secretariat Group, Secretary Local Government & Housing Town Planning Department.
