SWAT: Police, following a tip-off, carried out a raid in the Sambat area of Matta tehsil in Sawat and arrested a high-profile militant on Tuesday.
“Adil Khan is a high-profile militant and maintains links allegedly with the banned outfit of Tehreek-e-Taliban Swat,” the official said.
The officials also added the arrested militant was involved in anti-state activates during the insurgency in Swat.
“The detained militant will be interrogated by the law-enforcement agencies in an undisclosed location to trace his accomplices.” the official added.
