Nigeria’s Amina Mohammed sworn in as deputy UN secretary-general

Former Minister for Environment of Nigeria, Amina Mohammed has been officially sworn in as deputy secretary-general of the United Nation.

While talking to media, Amina Mohammed said that she would focus primarily on helping the secretary-general in sustainable development at the United Nations.

Earlier, she had served as a special adviser to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon on development planning.
