US and Afghan government through high-level diplomatic contacts have assured Pakistan that Afghan soil would not be allowed for terrorism in Pakistan, adding that in the light of intelligence information, a stern action would be taken against such groups and outfits hideouts, involved in sponsoring terrorism from Afghanistan.
Pakistan has closed its Pak-Afghan border for the sake of security and Pakistan Army has targeted terrorist groups present on the other side of Durand Line.
Following high level diplomatic contacts, it is expected that important meetings between Pakistan and Afghanistan would take place in the near future.
