KARACHI: Sindh IG Police A.D Khawaja on Sunday told reporters that the police have identified suspected suicide bomber of Sehwan shrine blast with the help of CCTV videos.
The top police official said that his department is 99% certain that the man caught on the video footage was the attacker.
At least 88 people were killed and over 200 injured in a suicide bombing at the Sindh shrine last Thursday.
The bomber struck inside the compound, where a large number of devotees were performing dhamaal, a devotional dance.
The inspector general added that the involvement of Hafeez Brohi, a terrorists’ facilitator, cannot be ruled out in the attack since the culprit has an established terror network in the province.
