A father buried alive his two daughters in Deenpur Village in Shakargarh on Friday night, after taking them out for a ride.
Driver Amjad took his eight-year-old daughter Maryam and 10-year-old Zainab outside for a ride and buried them alive.
Amjad confessed to his wife after she called him asking about his arrival. The locals rescued the victims and shifted them to the hospital where Maryam lost her life and Zainab was referred to a hospital in Lahore for proper medical treatment.
Meanwhile, police detained the suspect and launched an investigation into the matter.
