Gas leakage explosion kills 3 in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: At least three people were killed and four were wounded in a gas leakage explosion in Rawalpindi on Friday (Today).

The took place at a private television channel’s Director Admin Laiq Ahmad Bajwa’s house located in PWD locality. A woman, her newborn and maid were killed and five others sustained injuries in the incident.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the injured persons to PIMS Hospital.

Usage of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders increases due to zero gas pressure amid cold weather.
